RaffleTracker, operated by RaffleTracker LLC (“RaffleTracker,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the RaffleTracker mobile application, website (raffletracker.app), and all associated services (collectively, the “Platform”).

RaffleTracker operates solely as a discovery and promotional listing platform that provides users with information about giveaways conducted by independent third-party Partners. RaffleTracker does not sponsor, administer, operate, manage, conduct, or control any sweepstakes, raffles, contests, lotteries, or promotional drawings listed on the Platform. All promotions listed on the Platform are conducted exclusively by the respective Partners. Participation in any Giveaway occurs exclusively on the Partner’s website. RaffleTracker does not accept entry submissions, process payments for promotion entries, determine winners, distribute prizes, or otherwise participate in the operation of any promotion. The Platform merely provides a directory of promotional opportunities and does not constitute a gambling service, lottery operator, raffle administrator, or promotion sponsor.

By accessing or using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you provide to us when you create or use an account on the Platform, including:

Account Information: Your email address, username, password, and any display name or profile details you choose to provide.
Preferences and Saved Content: Your favorites, likes, follows, watchlists, notification settings, and other preference selections you make within the Platform.
Communications: The contents of messages you send to us, including customer support requests, emails, and other correspondence.
Feedback and Submissions: Information you provide when submitting feedback, survey responses, bug reports, or similar communications.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access or use the Platform, we may automatically collect certain information about your device and use of the Platform, including:

Device and Technical Information: Device type, operating system, browser type, app version, IP address, crash logs, and similar technical data.
Usage Information: Pages or screens viewed, searches performed, listings opened, time spent on the Platform, navigation paths, clicks, taps, scroll activity, and other interaction data.
Engagement Information: Your likes, favorites, follows, shares, watchlist activity, and similar engagement with listings, Partners, and Platform features.
Referral and Attribution Information: Information associated with your interaction with outbound links to Partner sites, including referral parameters or similar attribution data used for analytics, performance measurement, and partnership reporting.

2.3 Personalization and Recommendation Data

We use certain account, usage, and engagement information to personalize your experience on the Platform. For example, if you like, save, follow, search for, or frequently view certain types of listings or Partners, we may use that activity to recommend similar listings, organize content, or populate personalized areas of the Platform, including a “For You” or similar feed.

These recommendations are based on your activity within the Platform and are intended to improve relevance and usability. Personalization is based on your interactions with the Platform itself and not on personal information submitted through a Partner’s external giveaway entry process.

2.4 Partner Information

When a Partner registers for a Partner account, we collect:

Business Information: Company name, business type, website URL, and contact information submitted through the Partner Application.
Listing Content: All text, images, videos, descriptions, URLs, and other materials submitted by the Partner for display on the Platform.
Support Communications: Messages, emails, and correspondence between the Partner and RaffleTracker.
Compliance Documentation: Official rules, prize documentation, registration filings, and other materials provided in response to compliance requests.

2.5 Information We Do NOT Collect

RaffleTracker does not collect:

Payment or financial information (we do not process payments);
Precise geolocation data (GPS coordinates);
Contacts, photos, or files from your device;
Giveaway entry data — all entries occur on Partner websites, not on RaffleTracker. RaffleTracker does not collect entrant personal data through any Partner’s Giveaway entry flow, and does not process, store, or have access to entry submissions, entry forms, or entrant databases maintained by Partners;
Social Security numbers or government-issued identification from users.

Important distinction: While RaffleTracker does not collect data through Partner Giveaway entry processes, RaffleTracker does collect user account information, usage analytics, and engagement data (such as favorites, follows, and browsing activity) through the Platform itself, as described in Sections 2.1 and 2.2 above. These are two separate data flows: Partner entry data (which RaffleTracker never touches) and Platform user data (which RaffleTracker collects and uses in accordance with this Privacy Policy).

3. How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Provide and operate the Platform, including account creation, authentication, support, and core Platform functionality;
Personalize content and recommendations, including by displaying listings, Partners, categories, or features that may be more relevant to you based on your activity, preferences, likes, follows, favorites, searches, and similar engagement within the Platform;
Display and rank listings, including determining the order in which listings, categories, or recommendations appear, based on factors such as your preferences, engagement history, recency, popularity, relevance, editorial considerations, and sponsored placement status. Where listing placement is influenced by paid promotional status, the applicable listing will be labeled as sponsored, promoted, featured, or with a similar disclosure within the Platform;
Support promoted or sponsored placements, including displaying listings marked as sponsored, promoted, featured, or similar designations;
Measure referral activity and Platform performance, including analytics, attribution, and partnership reporting;
Send service-related communications, such as account verification, support responses, security notices, and operational updates;
Improve and develop the Platform, including troubleshooting, debugging, research, testing, and feature development;
Protect the Platform and users, including fraud prevention, abuse detection, moderation, and security monitoring; and
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements, policies, and rights.

We do not use your Platform personalization data to make decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects concerning you, such as decisions regarding credit, employment, housing, insurance, or access to essential services.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to help operate the Platform. These providers have access to your information only to perform services on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect your data. Your information may be processed, transmitted, cached, and stored through the following categories of providers:

Database and Authentication: Supabase provides database hosting, user authentication, file storage, and backend logic. Data is stored on Supabase’s secure infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit.
Application Framework: Expo / React Native provides the application development framework and over-the-air update delivery for the mobile app.
Website Hosting: Netlify provides website hosting and deployment for our web properties.
Email Services: EmailJS provides transactional email delivery for partner notifications and system alerts.
Content Delivery Networks (CDNs): We may use content delivery network services (such as Cloudflare or comparable providers) to cache and deliver Platform content efficiently. CDN providers may process your IP address, device information, and request data in the course of content delivery.
Cloud Storage: We may use cloud storage providers for backup, archival, and disaster recovery purposes. Your information may be stored in multiple geographic locations as part of standard cloud infrastructure.
Analytics: We may use analytics tools to understand Platform usage, monitor performance, and improve our services. Analytics data is typically aggregated and anonymized where possible.

We may change, add, or remove service providers from time to time as our Platform evolves. We will update this Privacy Policy to reflect material changes to our service provider infrastructure.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with a legal obligation; (b) protect and defend our rights or property; (c) prevent fraud or other illegal activity; (d) protect the personal safety of users or the public; or (e) protect against legal liability.

4.3 Business Transfers

If RaffleTracker is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or prominent notice on the Platform of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.

4.4 Aggregated or De-Identified Data

We may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for analytics, research, or business purposes.

5. Third-Party Websites, Partners, and Promoted Content

The Platform contains links to third-party websites operated by our Partners or their authorized promotion administrators (such as ViralSweep, Gleam, PromoSimple, or similar sweepstakes management platforms). When you tap on an entry link to visit a Partner’s website, you leave RaffleTracker and are subject to that Partner’s privacy policy and data practices. We strongly encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit.

RaffleTracker does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices, data collection, or data security of any third-party website, including Partner websites and third-party promotion administrators. Any personal information you submit on those external sites — including your name, email address, mailing address, or any other information requested as part of a Giveaway entry — is collected and processed by the Partner (or their promotion administrator), not by RaffleTracker, and is governed by that Partner’s privacy policy, not ours. RaffleTracker has no access to, and assumes no responsibility for, any personal information you provide to a Partner through their entry flow.

Promoted Content: Some Giveaway Listings on the Platform are paid placements by Partners. These listings may be labeled as “Sponsored,” “Promoted,” “Featured,” or with similar designations. The presence of a promoted label indicates that the Partner has paid for enhanced visibility. Promoted placement does not indicate that RaffleTracker has verified, endorsed, or approved the Giveaway, the Partner, or the prize.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL protocols;
Encryption of sensitive data at rest, including passwords (hashed using industry-standard algorithms);
Row-Level Security (RLS) policies on our database to ensure users can only access their own data;
Secure authentication using industry-standard protocols;
Regular security reviews and updates;
Access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Platform at your own risk.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Platform’s services. Different categories of data are retained for different periods based on their purpose:

Account data: While account is active + 30 days after deletion — Service delivery, account management
Usage analytics: Up to 24 months (aggregated/anonymized) — Platform improvement, performance analysis
Engagement data: While account is active + 30 days after deletion — Personalization, favorites, follows
Referral/attribution data: Up to 12 months — Partnership reporting, analytics
Support communications: Up to 24 months after resolution — Service improvement, dispute resolution
Partner listing content: While account is active + wind-down period per Content License — Platform operation, archival
Partner compliance docs: Duration of Partner relationship + 36 months — Legal compliance, regulatory response
Moderation records: Up to 36 months — Enforcement, fraud prevention, legal compliance
Backup copies: Up to 90 days after primary data deletion — Disaster recovery, operational continuity
Log data: Up to 12 months — Security, debugging, fraud detection

If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within thirty (30) days, except where longer retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes. Data may persist in backup systems for up to ninety (90) days following primary deletion. Retention of data in backup and archival systems does not constitute continued active use of the data.

We may retain data beyond the periods described above where required for: resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements; complying with legal, tax, or regulatory obligations; responding to regulatory inquiries or legal proceedings; preventing fraud or abuse; or maintaining security and integrity of the Platform.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

8.1 All Users

Access: You can access your account information at any time through the Platform.
Update: You can update your username, email, and password through the Platform settings.
Delete: You can delete your account at any time through the Platform settings. This will permanently remove your account data, favorites, and followed Partners.
Opt-Out of Communications: You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.

8.2 California Residents

If you are a California resident, and to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), applies to our processing, you may have the following rights, subject to applicable exceptions and verification requirements:

Right to Know / Access: To request that we disclose the categories of personal information we collected about you, the categories of sources from which it was collected, the business or commercial purposes for collecting, using, disclosing, selling, or sharing it, the categories of third parties to whom it was disclosed, and the specific pieces of personal information we collected about you.
Right to Delete: To request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
Right to Correct: To request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing: To direct us not to sell or share your personal information, as those terms are defined under California law. As of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy, we do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information: If we use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted by California law, you may direct us to limit that use or disclosure. As of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy, we do not knowingly collect or use sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about users.
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your California privacy rights.
Right to Use an Authorized Agent: You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to our verification requirements.

To exercise applicable California privacy rights, contact us at privacy@raffletracker.app. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. If we deny your request in whole or in part, we will explain the basis for the denial to the extent required by law.

8.2.1 California Notice at Collection

We collect identifiers (such as email address, username, IP address, and device identifiers), internet or network activity information (such as searches, views, clicks, and usage activity), and customer records and account information you provide to us (such as account credentials and support communications). We use this information to provide the Platform, manage accounts, personalize content and recommendations, measure performance and referral activity, maintain security, provide support, and comply with law. For more information, please review this Privacy Policy in its entirety. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as of the Effective Date of this notice. Where required by law, this notice will also be provided at or before the point of collection.

8.3 European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Similar Jurisdictions

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar data protection rights, and if those laws apply to our processing, the following additional information applies.

Legal Bases for Processing. Depending on the context, we process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:

Performance of a contract: To provide the Platform, maintain your account, authenticate users, save your favorites and follows, and deliver features you request;
Legitimate interests: To improve the Platform, secure the Platform, prevent fraud and abuse, perform analytics, measure engagement, and personalize content and recommendations in a proportionate manner;
Consent: Where required by law, including for certain communications or optional processing activities;
Legal obligation: Where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law, lawful requests, or regulatory obligations.

Profiling and Personalization. We may use information about your activity on the Platform — such as listings viewed, searches performed, favorites, likes, follows, and related engagement — to personalize your experience and recommend content that may be more relevant to you. This may constitute profiling under applicable law. However, we do not use this processing to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects concerning you. Where required by applicable law, you may have the right to object to our processing of your personal data for personalization or other legitimate-interest-based purposes.

Your Rights. Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your personal data, and where processing is based on consent, to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your place of residence or work, or where an alleged infringement occurred.

9. Age Requirements and Minors’ Privacy

The Platform is intended only for individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old. You may not use the Platform or create an account if you are under eighteen (18). We may require users to confirm their age during account creation.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under eighteen (18), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen (13). If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under the applicable minimum age, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

The eighteen (18) year age requirement is in place because the Platform may display promotions involving regulated products such as firearms, ammunition, alcohol, tobacco, and other age-restricted items. While RaffleTracker does not sell or distribute these products, the nature of the content displayed on the Platform is not appropriate for individuals under the age of eighteen (18).

Certain promotions displayed on the Platform may have eligibility requirements beyond the Platform’s minimum age of eighteen (18), including minimum age requirements of twenty-one (21) years or older for promotions involving alcohol, certain firearm transfers, or other products restricted by law to individuals aged twenty-one (21) or older. These additional age requirements are determined by the Partner conducting the promotion and are governed by that promotion’s official rules. Users are responsible for reviewing the eligibility requirements of each promotion before participating. RaffleTracker does not verify the age of users or entrants for any Partner promotion.

10. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and your personal data may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required by applicable law, we will use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers of personal data, such as contractual safeguards approved for such transfers or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

11. Cookies, Tracking Technologies, and Local Storage

11.1 Mobile Application

The RaffleTracker mobile application uses local device storage to maintain your session, authentication state, and app preferences. The app does not use traditional browser cookies. The app may store the following data locally on your device:

Authentication tokens: To keep you signed in between sessions;
Cached content: Temporarily stored listing data and images for faster loading and offline browsing;
Preferences: Your notification settings, display preferences, and other app configuration.

You can clear locally stored data by logging out of the app or clearing the app’s data through your device settings.

11.2 Website

The RaffleTracker website (raffletracker.app) and associated web properties may use the following tracking technologies:

Session cookies: Temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser, used to maintain your browsing session and remember your preferences during a single visit;
Persistent cookies: Cookies that remain on your device for a set period, used to remember your preferences across visits and to understand how you use the website over time;
Analytics tools: We may use analytics services to collect aggregated usage data, including pages visited, time on site, traffic sources, and user flows. This data helps us improve the Platform;
Referral tracking: When you click on an Entry URL or outbound link, tracking parameters may be appended to measure Platform performance and partner referral activity.

11.3 Managing Tracking Technologies

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the website. For the mobile app, you can manage local storage through your device settings or by logging out of the app. Disabling local storage may require you to log in again each time you use the app.

12. Do Not Track Signals

Some web browsers transmit “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. Because there is no uniform standard for interpreting DNT signals, the Platform does not currently respond to DNT signals. We will update this Privacy Policy if we adopt a standard for responding to DNT signals in the future.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy on the Platform with a revised effective date and, where required by law, by providing additional notice such as an email notification or in-app alert.

Your continued use of the Platform after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
